Does the world really need another blog?  Certainly not, but the world is not the intended audience for this repository of “musings and miscellany.”  I simply wanted a place on the web to organize my thoughts and notes so that they could be shared with family, friends, and colleagues.  I do not expect the world to beat a path to this blog, but if you happen to stumble across this site while surfing the web you are more than welcome to drop in for a visit.
